Promotion: Danish brand Fritz Hansen has launched The Plenum Cabin, a seating range crafted by designer Jaime Hayon as "a versatile space-creation tool" for the workplace.

The Plenum Cabin is a four-seater, pod-like furniture piece designed by Hayon to host informal and private conversations within large and open workspaces.

It comprises two sofas with adjoining high backrests, forming what Fritz Hansen described as "a characteristic and functional piece" for an office interior.

"The Plenum Cabin is not just furniture; it's a versatile space-creation tool," explained the brand.

"My aim was to craft a space within a space – a haven for intimate conversations and informal gatherings," added Hayon.

"It's an invitation to connect, to share and to experience the best of human interaction in the workplace."

The Plenum Cabins form part of the wider Plenum collection by Fritz Hansen, which consists of a range of high-back sofas and chairs.

Similarly to the rest of the collection, they are distinguished by their towering, curved backrests, which provide privacy and a feeling of enclosure for users.

The Plenum Cabins are available in several upholstery types from Fritz Hansen's own textile range, with colours including navy, mustard yellow and purple.

They can also be customised with screens of up to 68 centimetres (27 inches), as well as meeting tables that slot between the two sofas. Meanwhile, power plugs and USB ports can be incorporated within the sofas if desired.
