Five architecture and design events in June from Dezeen Events Guide

Design Shanghai, New Designers and NeoCon are among the architecture and design events featured in Dezeen Events Guide this June.

Other events taking place during the month include design festivals London Festival of Architecture and 3 Days of Design.

London Festival of Architecture
1 to 30 June 2024, UK

The 17th edition of the London Festival of Architecture takes place across the UK's capital in 2024, with the events aiming to open conversation around architecture and spotlight upcoming talent in the industry.

The month-long festival has a programme of exhibitions, installations, open studios, talks, conferences, tours, workshops, film screenings and performances.

Curators include Dezeen's editor Tom Ravenscroft, urban designer Ruchi Chakravarty; founder of Office Sian Architecture + Design Gurmeet Sian, CEO of The Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation Jessica Neil, executive director and head of Partnerships at UP Projects Moira Lascelles and architect Poppy Levison.

3 Days of Design
12 to 14 June 2024, Denmark

Annual festival 3 Days of Design returns in 2024 with a programme of talks, open showrooms, exhibitions and installations, product launches and parties across 11 participating design districts in Copenhagen.

The festival spotlights textiles, surfaces, bathroom and kitchen products, accessories and indoor and outdoor furniture from global brands and also showcases emerging designers.

Dezeen has created a digital guide and map to the festival, highlighting the key events taking place in the city.

NeoCon
12 to 14 June 2024, USA

NeoCon is an annual interior design fair located at The Mart in Chicago, presenting an exhibition, a series of talks, presentations and workshops, and an awards ceremony.

The exhibition features more than 400 established and upcoming brands from across the globe, including companies in the education, government, health, hospitality, public space, residential, retail and workplace sectors.

Dezeen is a media partner for NeoCon 2024.

Design Shanghai
19 to 22 June, China

Annual fair Design Shanghai aims to merge Eastern and Western styles through an exhibition across four halls and a forum.

The exhibition is separated into themes: furniture and lighting, kitchen and bathroom design, living and lifestyle products, and new materials and applications.

The event takes place across four days at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

Dezeen is a media partner for Design Shanghai 2024.

New Designers
26 June to 6 July, UK

More than 3,000 students are taking part in this year's New Designers fair, which returns to London's Business Design Centre.

The event celebrates the work of graduates from over 200 universities, enabling them to showcase their projects and network with peers and industry professionals.

Fashion, textiles, product design and furniture creations are all on display.

The event is separated into two weeks, with the first half taking place from 26 to 29 June and the second half running from 3 to 6 July.
