Dezeen Awards China 2024, in partnership with Bentley, is open for entries! This regional edition of Dezeen Awards aims to showcase the very best in architecture, interiors and design from studios based in China.

Bentley will continue its collaboration with Dezeen for a second year, supporting its regional awards programme which spotlights Chinese design talent on a global stage.

This is part of a wider collaboration to inspire, support and champion design excellence and showcase innovation that aims to create a better and more sustainable world.

Last year marked the start of this partnership, which will continue to foster talent that is dedicated to making a beneficial impact within social and environmental sustainability, inclusivity and community empowerment.

Nineteen categories to enter

This year, there are 19 project categories open for entry across architecture, interiors and design.

We've introduced three new awards. One rewards excellence in landscape and urban design, celebrating standout landscape design, masterplan, and public realm projects. The other two new categories highlight the best in exhibition design as well as craft and collectible design, drawing on the region's strong craft heritage.

The winners of these 19 project categories will compete for the ultimate honour: the title of project of the year across architecture, interiors and design.

Dezeen Awards China places a strong emphasis on excellence and sustainability, guided by our judging criteria. The scoring system is based on three key design principles: beautiful, beneficial and innovative.

In addition, the China Designers of the Year awards will recognise six emerging and established designers or studios, working across architecture interiors and design, with names put forward by our judges.

Bentley joins Dezeen Awards China for a second year as the headline sponsor.

"This is the second year of our wide-ranging partnership with Dezeen and we look forward to supporting the architectural and interior design sectors as they push into a more sustainable future," Bentley's global head of marketing Steven De Ploey said.

Entries will be judged by a prestigious panel of leading industry professionals, formed by 15 architects and designers from both China and around the globe.

Last year the jury included architects Ma Yansong and Rossana Hu, designers Min Chen and Frank Chou, as well as Büro Ole Scheeren principal Ole Scheeren, British designer Ilse Crawford and US interior designer Kelly Wearstler.

Dezeen Awards China 2024 in partnership with Bentley
