We offer a unique, interdisciplinary platform uniting all innovative research under one nomadic roof.

Where standard programs divide disciplines, our approach generates the cross-pollination of ideas, inspiring fresh ideas and expanding definitions of art, design, architecture and the creative process.

Transart supports research within all creative fields, including architecture as visual language or psychoanalysis, art and social technologies, environmental activism, bio-integrated design, cinematic and videogame architecture, communication design, critical spatial practices, curation, design theory, diagramming, exhibition and theatre design.

It also encourages research in environmental, fashion, furniture, jewellery, lighting, product, service, textile, industrial, interior and graphic design, health and wellness design, environmental sound design, kinetic sculpture, landscape architecture, interaction design and interactive textiles.

Other topics explored include new materialism, object-oriented ontology, parametric design, performing arts, photography, postcolonial urbanism and urban planning, spatial audio and 3D sound, sensorial translation, spatial anthropology, temporary and transient architecture, and writing.

Work with our advisors, including Gyungju Chyon, Beth Weinstein, Marwan Zouein, Giulia Vismara, Fayen Devie, Dean Kenning, Tracey Benson, Simon Faithfull, Tom Overton, Fiona Raby, Renee Gladman, Carolina Rito, Gilles Aubry, Sonia Barrett, Kim Schoen, Jeff Thompson, Eto Otitigbe, Geoff Cox, Diogo Passarinho and Winnie Soon or invite your own.
